What does EDM do
Fellowship Development
Fellowship Development has become one of the central activities of EDM, offering support to emerging NA communities to help them build their service structures and deal with local issues. Fellowship Development activities comprise visits to communities, the organisation of specific service and recovery workshops at service conferences and local conventions, communications and responding to different types of requests throughout the EDM Zone.
Recent visits have proved very helpful to communities such as Egypt, Poland and the Ukraine.
ECCNA- European Convention and Conference of Narcotics Anonymous
The ECCNA is an annual event that combines the celebration of recovery with service-oriented workshops. Each year the EDM - European Delegates Meeting - delegates the responsibility for planning and hosting the ECCNA to one of the bidding NA Communities.
EDM - Conference
Delegates of the member communities of the EDM meet twice a year for a 4 day conference. The Summer meeting generally takes place during ECCNA, while the winter meeting is hosted by different communities and usually combines the conference with Fellowship Development activities.
